Due to technical difficulties, we extended the submission date for paper/poster abstracts and workshop proposals to Friday 3rd March 2023. The open journal system (OJS) that we are using for the PATT40 proceedings was upgraded last week to the latest edition, which is the root of the problem. We thought that a week would give us time to fix the issues, but are aware that authors have been having issues with submissions – such as the website hanging at the confirmation stage. In all cases so far, the abstracts have been successfully submitted, and it appears that the issue is with notifications.

As a result of the on going issues, the conference committee has decided not to close submissions for the time being. However, we advise that you do not try submitting until we publish the ‘all clear’ on this website, twitter, and our mailing list – we will post an update next Friday (10th March). We humbly apologise for any frustrations, but also hope that this gives others time to submit an abstract for PATT40 Liverpool.
