Season’s Greetings to the worldwide PATT community!

At this time of year, whether you have been celebrating Bodhi Day, Christmas, Hannukkah, Kathika Deepam, Kwanzaa, Mawlid an-Nabī, Yule, or another of the world’s winter (for those of us in the global north, at least) festivals, the PATT40 Conference Committee send season’s greetings to all past, present and future members of the international PATT community!

We hope that you have a restful period with friends and/or family. We also look forward to reading your conference paper and poster abstracts, and workshop proposals, which are due to be submitted by Friday 27th January 2023. If you are new to conference presentations, Dr Alison Hardy (Associate Professor at Nottingham Trent University) is offering a free webinar and support for writing abstracts. The session, Preparing to Share Your Research, will take place online on Monday 9th January 2023, 19.30 – 21.00 (UTC).

The photo attached to this blogpost was taken from the top floor of of the Education Building at Liverpool John Moores University a few weeks ago. It was an unusually cold snap, so don’t be thinking you’ll need your winter thermals for PATT40, but it looked quite seasonal and pretty!

Stay safe and see you on the other side!
